A cluster management organization established on the basis of the Packaging Manufacturers Association of Georgia (PMAG) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Free University of Tbilisi and the Agricultural University of Georgia. The memorandum aims to support the development of students as professionals, the realization of their personal potential, the development of practical skills and competences to meet modern requirements.
On July 7, 2020, a cluster management organization, established on the basis of the Packaging Manufacturers Association of Georgia (PMAG), signed a memorandum of understanding with the construction college “Construct2”. Under the memorandum, both sides agreed to cooperate on the issues of common interests and also cooperate in the implementation of joint educational projects to facilitate the training of highly competent personnel.
The company “Tsivis Kveli” has joined the PMAG Cluster. The factory „ Tsivis Kveli” was founded in 2008 in the village Kurdgelauri and since then, the company works with the cow as well as with the buffalo milk. As of now, the factory produces more than 11 kinds of 70 varieties of cheese, sulguni, cottage cheese, ricotta, butter. It is worth mentioning that, “Tsivis Kveli” products are sold not only in Georgia but exported abroad as well.
The PMAG cluster has become a candidate member of the World Packaging Organization (WPO). Representatives of PMAG introduced the Georgian cluster to the President and Secretary-General of the WPO and discussed future cooperation plans.
Georgian Association of Packaging Materials Manufacturers has handed over protective shields to the Young Guides Association and fully equipped the guides operating in Imereti in connection with the opening of domestic tourism.
In connection with Environment Protection Day, Kakheti regional representative of Packaging Material Association of Georgia handed out Protective Masks and some other gifts to the companies working in packaging material industry and other entities included in respective value chains.
