One of the main priorities of the PMAG Cluster is to train highly qualified personnel and to create industry competitive specialists for their employment. Based on this, on July 9, 2020, a cluster management organization established on the basis of the Packaging Manufacturers Association of Georgia (PMAG), signed a memorandum of understanding with Akaki Tsereteli State University.
The memorandum aims to develop joint training programs and get young people interested in
these programs by both sides.
Based on this cooperation, participants will be facilitated and trained by highly competent staff, through the implementation of educational projects and resource sharing. The cluster will support the professional training and qualification process of students.
According to Kristine Maglakelidze, Representative of a cluster management organization in Imereti, They will start cooperating with Akaki Tsereteli State University through an internship program. Under this internship program, students will be able to complete 2-3 months paid internships in the cluster member companies.
